Accessibility Tab (Pro, Std, Lite)

This is where you set up options that affect the accessibility part of the syntax checker. Accessibility checking is included in the professional and standard editions, but not in the lite edition.

Accessibility Checking Options

Enable accessibility checking - Check this box to enable accessibility checking. If you are using the integrated editor, the accessibility messages will appear in the Accessibility tab in the Results Window. Checking this option will result is slightly slower validation times as more processing is required. This option is not enabled by default. (New v6.00)
Check against the US Section 508 federal standards - Check this box to enable accessibility messages that help you comply with US Government Section 508 Accessibility Standards (new window). This option has no effect if the Enable accessibility checking option is not checked. This option is enabled by default. (New v6.00)
Check against W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 (WCAG 1.0) - Check this box to enable WCAG 1.0 (new window) accessibility checking. This option has no effect if the Enable accessibility checking option is not checked. This option is enabled by default. (New v6.00)
Group WCAG 1.0 messages by Priority - Check this box to group WCAG 1.0 messages by priority (1, 2, or 3). This option has no effect if the Enable accessibility checking option is not checked or if the Check against W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 option is not checked. This option is enabled by default. (New v6.00)
WCAG Conformance Level - Choose which WCAG messages, based on priority, you would like displayed. The WCAG define three priority levels and three conformance levels. This option has no effect if the Enable accessibility checking option is not checked or if the Check against W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 option is not checked. This option's default is Conformance Level "AAA". (New v6.00)
